Surprise Anti doping tests on Argentine players all negative

Télam. National News Agency of Argentina. June 11, 2010. FIFA informed today that the surprise anti-doping tests carried on eight members of the Argentine squad last June, 6th have all been negative.

The members of the squad who had been selected for the tests were Sergio Romero, Mariano Andújar and Diego Pozo, defender Ariel Garcé, midfielder Maxi Rodríguez and forwards Carlos Tevez, Sergio Agüero and Diego Milito.

The team led by Diego Armando Maradona is to play its opening match tomorrow before Nigeria within the Group B of the World Cup.
